A Cut Above Custom Woodwork
Do you charge by the hour?
No. We price based on the finished product, not time spent. This allows us to focus on quality and craftsmanship rather than watching the clock.
What does your pricing include?
Our pricing includes: ● Design & layout ● Premium materials ● Professional fabrication ● Sanding, finishing, and detailing ● Shop overhead & tooling ● Risk management for epoxy and wood movement There are no surprise add-ons.
Why is epoxy work more expensive?
Epoxy projects involve: ● Multiple pours and cure cycles ● Climate-controlled environments ● Extensive sanding and polishing ● Higher material costs ● Increased failure and waste risk We price epoxy work to ensure quality, durability, and long-term clarity.
Can I supply my own wood or materials?
Yes, in some cases. Client-supplied materials must be approved prior to the build and are not covered under our material warranty. ALL WOOD SUPPLIED WILL BE KILN DRIED AT CLIENTS EXPENCE AND WILL ADD ADDITIONAL COMPLETION TIME. Pricing may not be reduced due to added preparation and risk.
Do you offer discounts?
We occasionally offer purpose-based discounts for military members, first responders, and memorial projects. We do not discount custom work based on price comparisons.
What is required to get on your schedule?
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to reserve materials and a build slot. The remaining balance is due prior to delivery or installation.
What is your minimum project size?

Lead times vary based on project size and season. Most custom builds are scheduled several weeks in advance. Rush timelines are available at premium pricing when possible.
Is epoxy “perfect”?
Epoxy is a hand-finished material. While we aim for exceptional clarity and finish, minor visual variations are inherent to the material and considered normal.
